Frequently Asked Questions
Is BDR a Children's Home?
No. We are a drop-in community centre that reaches out to children, youths, and families. We do not have any live-in residents.
Is BDR open to receive short-term volunteers?
Yes, we welcome Christian volunteers at BDR. If you have a project in mind, please write to us. We are also always looking for programme teachers and assistants.
Is BDR affiliated to any parachurch organization?
We are YWAM (Youth With a Mission).
Are you legally registered?
We are legally registered with the Thai government as a project under Ignite Dreams Foundation.
Does BDR receive DTS outreach teams?
Yes. Please write to us if God is leading you to have your DTS outreach in Chiang Mai. Teams will have opportunities such as home visits to people in our community, children’s programmes, Bible teaching, training workshops, and English teaching.
Are BDR staff paid a salary?
Yes, local staff are paid a monthly salary. We believe in paying our staff fair wages.
